The Aspire Learning Federation is made up of two schools - Elm Park Primary School and R J Mitchell Primary School in the London Borough of Havering.

Digital Leaders are students who take on the responsibility of supporting the use of technology across the school. They help staff and classmates use digital tools effectively and act as role models for safe and responsible online behaviour.  

Digital Leaders Club

  • When: Thursdays 3:30pm-4:30pm

  • Who can join: Pupils from Year 3 to Year 6

  • How to apply: Complete an application form and return it to Mrs Sale via the office

  • Maximum spaces: 25 students

Responsibilities

Digital Leaders are expected to:

  • Support teachers and classmates with technology in lessons.

  • Help set up and organise devices or equipment.

  • Promote online safety and share key messages with peers.

  • Test and recommend useful apps, tools, or programs.

  • Provide feedback on how technology is used in school.

  • Act as “tech buddies” for visitors, parents, or younger pupils.

What will pupils learn

  • Understand leadership – creating pledges and responsibilities as Digital Leaders.

  • Be Online Safety Superheroes – learning and teaching safe online behaviour.

  • Help others with tech – practicing how to give clear instructions.

  • Explore coding – building and sharing simple projects in Scratch.

  • Be creative – designing posters, logos, and digital content.

  • Troubleshoot problems – solving everyday IT issues calmly.
