Welcome from the PTA
The R J Mitchell Primary School has had a successful, committed and hardworking PTA for many years. In its time the PTA has raised thousands of pounds which have been spent on improving equipment and resources to enhance our children’s education and the facilities in school.
However, our PTA is about much more than just fundraising. The PTA exists to provide closer links between home and school. It’s a way of bringing staff, parents and friends together socially in support of the school. We aim to create fun memories for our children. We have discos, coffee mornings, youth club, stalls and fetes to name just a few of our events.
We are a registered charity and our committee is made up of parents. Everything the PTA has achieved is due to the time that members have voluntarily given for the benefit of every child in the school. All of the events run by the PTA require a lot of work, time and organisation. We always welcome suggestions, new ideas and of course any help. If you would like to get involved and make your child’s school an even greater place to be, then please let us know. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.
