Information about Notifying the School when your child's is sick16 September 2025 (by admin) |
1) Call the school and select option 1 to leave a voicemail. Please remember to press # at the end of your message and press 0 to save.
2) Fill out the form on the school website under the 'Parents' section and 'Report my child's absence'
3) Email the school office.
In all the above ways, please let us know your child's full name, class and the reason for absence (you do not need to give extra details please just give us the basic details) You do not need to send us photos of your poorly child.
If we do not hear from you and your child has not been registered at school, we are legally required to contact you to find out why your child is not in school. This is often very time consuming for office staff so we would greatly appreciate your help in ensuring you contact us as soon as you know your child will not be attending school.
It is also important that if you have given us additional contacts they are aware as if we cannot get hold of the first named contact, we are required to call all named contacts on the list.
The morning period between 8-9.30am along with the end of school day period between 2.45-3.30pm are incredibly busy and important parts of the office's day and they are often inundated with people at the window. Please try and avoid visiting the school office during these times unless it is an emergency or you have been asked to do so. The office is always happy to assist you outside of these times, or via email.
As always, we thank you all for your support.
