Staffing for September 2025

7 July 2025 (by Ashlea Stevenson (ashlea))

Dear Parents and Carers,

Staffing for September 2025 Update

We have a number of teaching staff who will be leaving at the end of the summer term as they have been on temporary or long term supply contracts this year.

I would like to thank all the staff who have been on temporary, short or long term supply this year; Miss Sultana, Year 1: Ellis Class, Mrs. Mahmood, Year 2: Pease Class and Miss Dumitrescu, Year 3/4 Lock Class. They have all worked hard to get to know the children very quickly and provide them with a degree of stability during staff absence and departures. We wish them all the very best for the future.

We will also be saying goodbye to Miss Mbirimi at the end of this term. She has taken the decision to leave based on current ill health.

We will also be saying goodbye to the following support staff, who are leaving to pursue other career opportunities,  Mr. Anthony Y5/6 Higher Level Teaching Assistant, Miss Rahman, Year 1 Learning Support Assistant and Mr. Gricius, our agency supply sports coach this year. We wish them all the very best for the future.

We have also recruited a Sports teacher, Mr. Morgan to support coverage of teachers’ Planning, Preparation & Assessment time, as well as build on our range of extra-curricular clubs on offer.

We were able to recruit new teaching and senior staff earlier in the Spring term this year and we will have a permanent Head of School; Miss Deighan (currently our Acting Deputy Headteacher) for September 2025. We have also recruited another Assistant Headteacher; Mrs. Divall who will join the senior leadership team for September 2025 also. Ms. Morris will resume her full time role as Executive Headteacher.

I am pleased to say we are fully staffed and I am also pleased to say that all staff are now permanent, contracted staff which should see a much more settled year for the next academic year. Please see teaching staff organisation for September 2025: (teachers highlighted in yellow are new staff)
