Young Voices Choir - KS2 3.30 - 4.25pm every Tuesday

Young Voices Concert - O2 Arena Wednesday 25th February 2026

We are delighted to announce that the RJ Mitchell Primary School will be taking part in the Young Voices Concert 2026.  If your child has never taken part before, Young Voices is a huge, arena-scale performance which combines an 8,000 strong children’s choir with professional artists, musicians and dancers. 

You should be aware that it is quite a long day, as we leave school at 12:00pm (after an early lunch), take part in rehearsals during the afternoon and then the concert in the evening. This year, we will be travelling to the O2 by London Underground, so you will be able to collect your child after the concert.  By signing up to this event, your child is committing to attending Choir practice each week (unless they are absent from school for any reason). Children do not have access to lyrics on the night and they get more out of the experience when they are familiar with both the songs and dance moves!  

If you would like your child to be involved in this event, please return the parental consent form below. Please note, we only have 30 places available. Places will be given on a first come, first served basis. Choir practice will be held on a Tuesday after school between 3.30 - 4.25pm in Shilling class starting in September.  Once your child's place has been confirmed, you will be added to the ParentPay Young Voices Choir group and will be able to purchase tickets and a t-shirt.

There is an option of purchasing the official t-shirt, which costs £15.00.  There is no requirement to purchase the official t-shirt. Lots of children wear a plain white top and this is absolutely fine.  If you would like to purchase an official t-shirt, please make payment on ParentPay, return the order form attached with the size you require.

If you would like to watch the performance, you will need to purchase audience tickets. These are priced at £27.00 each and should be ordered via our Parent Pay system. School will order the tickets for the concert as young voices cannot accept individual orders from parents and can only accept school bookings. (Please note that parents will have to arrange their own transport to and from the arena.)   Once you have paid for your tickets via ParentPay complete the attached form and return it back to me. 

Orders should be placed by Friday 18th July 2025 to avoid delays. The deadline for orders is Friday 5th September 2025.  We are unable to process any orders for audience tickets or T-Shirts after this date. 

Please note schools are not assigned a certain amount of tickets.  Tickets are purchased on a first come, first served basis and can sell out in advance of the school ticket deadline offer.
